Muralist & Art Instructor
Vyolette Hastings, known as 6ER, is a St. Petersburg, Florida–based mixed media artist specializing in large-scale, multidimensional assemblage. Her artistic path began in childhood while navigating the foster care system, where creativity became a tool for resilience amid constant change and instability.
Today, her work serves as both advocacy and healing. Each piece functions as a visual narrative, blending vibrant color palettes, cartoon-inspired characters, and nostalgic patterns to reawaken childlike wonder. Beneath the playful imagery lies depth—inviting viewers to look past the whimsy and engage with the layered meanings embedded in her immersive, fantastical worlds.
